Antique Painted

Antique Painted
I have an old painting of some flowers painted by Van de Pas Wm. After starting the paper?

back of the frame, I found the number 78. I know it was originally purchased by one of my aunts, and then passes through the family, of which I have now. I can not find any info on a Van de Pas Wm. Where I can go to find the paintings are worth. My guess is that it is an oil painting

I'm not quite sure where you could take, except maybe a pawn shop or show very upmarket antiques. Some kind of place where you really do with an expert to come and see people bring items to its stores. You could also try going to a local university that has a great art program. I did a quick and dirty search with the name you gave him, because generally artists do not put numbers on the back of his paintings as if they were a series. Usually, what happens to the prints. This web page is found on who could be the artist: http://www.artoftheprint.com/artistpages/van_de_passe_willem_george_clifford.htm With the series of prints, is unusual for an artist to write what that the number of impressions. For example, if I had to make 10 copies of something, the first impression would be of 1 / 10, the second impression that I would be 2 / 10 and so on. The earlier the impression is in the series, the more expensive it is. So the impression that it is 1 / 10 is worth more than the impression that it is 10/10. Hope this helps a little!
